IntroductionIn 2007, many pastors from Washtenaw County were gathered to seek the Lord, a clear direction came from the Holy Spirit. This mandate was to mobilize unceasing prayer for the purpose of bringing divine transformation to our community. Since that time a 24-7 unceasing prayer initiative began and a prayer center was started that currently involves more than 20 churches and host more than 100 hours of prayer weekly.
In 2010 the Lord revealed the need to unite thousands of pray-ers within our county in daily united intercession. This website was started to fulfill the goal of uniting 10,000 intercessors daily by January 2012 and beyond. VisionThere are no shortcuts to winning our community to Christ. Both scripture and history point to prayer as the way for transformation. God’s people uniting in prayer is the key for releasing the fullness of God’s power and fulfilling His purposes. In order to receive breakthrough, we need to commit ourselves radically to prayer.
Transforming the County, impacting the nations. Our community is very strategic to reaching the nations for Christ. Our universities are home for of more 170 nation’s future leaders! Kingdom Church. Our vision is to work in relationship with the larger Body of Christ to serve and unite.
Our Strategy
Enlist. We are calling for 10,000 volunteers to enlist in the Jesus Tsunami prayer army. God is looking for men and women who will be His emergency task force to combat the forces of hell. The Holy Spirit wants volunteers who will be alert daily in the battle against the works of the devil. Tell the Holy Spirit that you wish to be on the task force of spiritual volunteers.
Connect Daily. The Jesus Tsunami community will have opportunity to connect through our facebook page & twitter @JesusTsunami. Prayer request will be communicated as well as the interacting format will allow you to connect with each other as well as find resources to grow in your prayer life and effectiveness as an intercessor Connect Monthly. Praise and Prayer Rally. Worshipping and Seeking God together through praise and prayer is vital to victory in God’s Kingdom. We hold a corporate worship event each month on a Saturday called “Seven-Fourteen”. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is God’s direction to bring divine transformation. We meet at a local church beginning at 7:14pm.
